Work Product

The Work Product menu is where you can sort and review all of the various work product you have created while building your case in TrialKit. This section acts as both an audit trail of work created by yourself and a collaboration space to view the work added to the case by your case teammates. All examples of work product contain here include links to the original files that were annotated to create the work product type.

Read below for instructions on navigating the Work Product menu as well find as links to articles detailing the various types of work product you can create in TrialKit.

The Work Product Space

There are four types of work product that you can create within TrialKit. You can learn more about each by following these links:

1. Files Marked as Important
2. Chart Items
3. Notes
4. Legal Issues

In the Work Product menu these display as individual cards stacked by the most recently added:

You can search your work product by keyword using the search box in the upper left hand corner of the Work Product menu:

You can also filter work product items in two ways:

1. By Type:

2. By Case Teammate:

All records of work product include hyperlinks to the original files that were annotated to create that work product. Clicking this link will open a new browser tab with TrialKit open to the original file you annotated. If the work product is a Chart Item, a Note, or a Legal Issue the page will open to the area you had highlighted to create the work product. If the work product is Marked as Important it will simply open to that file. 

In this way TrialKit not only to review all of the work product you and your case teammates created in your case, it allows you to call up the original source file with one simple click.
