Archiving cases in TrialKit is a simple operation. If you have completed work on your case and do not plan to have the need to work on it or have access to the discovery data or work product for an extended period of time, you can archive the case if you are a Case Owner. Archiving the case means moving the case, discovery data, and all work product into an archived rather than an active state. No further work can be done in this case until it is de-archived and restored to your firm environment on TrialKit. The article below details how to archive a case as a Case Owner.
NOTE: be sure when archiving a case that you will not need to access it for at least two or more weeks. The process of de-archiving and restoring a case and all of its data to an active state requires that the request be made with the TrialKit team at least two weeks prior to the date needed.
