Setting up and Managing Your Cases
Now that you have gotten to know the main sections of TrialKit and built out your team, let's get started setting up your cases. The article below will walk you through how to do this from adding a new case, adding teammates to a case, and managing case details.
Adding a Case
Adding a new case is easy in TrialKit. Just follow these steps:
- On the TrialKit Main Menu, click My Cases in the left menu.
- Click Add case on the right.
- Enter a title.
- Enter the case number. If you do not have this you can enter "TBD"
- Choose the state or states that have jurisdiction.
Enter the client's name (optional).
- And click Add Case.
Editing Case Info
You can edit the case details later only if you are a case owner. Make changes either in My Cases on the Main Menu by clicking into the ... menu to the right of the case:
Or, while in the case itself, from the Case Info screen where Case Owners will see an Edit option available:
Make any changes required in any of the fields then click Save Changes
